KAPOLEI—Twenty-four hours after Mother Nature turned one of O'ahu's driest regions into a veritable swampland, it was time for the Kapolei Hurricanes to get their swing on.
Kapolei turned back Pearl City, 5-4, Thursday afternoon to remain in a first-place tie in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association West race.
