AIEA—Mililani's blonde hairdos belie the tenacity, unity and teamwork involved in the building of a soccer dynasty.
The Trojans, with a 3-0 win over resilient Castle Tuesday, advanced to the championship game of the O'ahu Interscholastic Association boys' soccer playoffs.
Castle, which overwhelmed Kapolei last week, had its turn at being the lesser team for 80 minutes. The Knights never let up, but it was Mililani that dominated a matchup that was more lopsided than the final margin indicated.
