Lahainaluna looks like a very tough team this year. Can they be a force to recon with in the state playoffs.

The Luna's is the real deal dude. They are here to stay, they are going all the way to the top!!!!!

I'm really proud of the Luna Boys for playing their hearts out against the Bears last saturday. It was one of the best games I've seen in a while.Man that goaline defense of the Lunas is really tough and also exciting. After the game I walked up to #81 and shaked his hand, for making probably one of the most important plays this year.Oh Man and that Sake kid (#21) is really showing off his skills this year as their middle linebacker. He definitely gets my vote for the defensive MVP.But all and all they are all very skilled athletes that seem to function well as a team. Hopefully the boys can stick with it and remain undefeated for the rest of their season. If ever, this year seems to be the year to go for the state crown. If any of you Luna football boys are reading this, I just want to tell you to have fun and good luck on an outstanding season and for all the Luna football fans, just keep coming out and supporting our boys.

I'm a big Baldwin fan so I really like #44 Maiava.
They are a really good team but I also enjoy watching that Luna kid, Sake. I think Sake should be the defensive MVP, But we all know Kaluka will get it because of all the news papers and scouts. No one really cares about the Lunas. But personally I really think that Sake should get it because he just looks like a better athlete and he takes charge of his defense.

My name is peni and i play for lahaina luna high school this year 2004 - 2005 Im *51 i play D- line and o-line i think that we might go far if we put our minds in to it we might even take the State championship if we execute our plays right ,but i speek for the team on this, all this credit we give it to God for helping us in this successful season thank you heavenly father and please continue with your loving support thank you and amen

I am a student at lahainaluna and i believe also in penis' statement, not only because i am from lahainaluna but because our football boys by far have tried their hardest, and are willing to make the sacrifices needed in order to be a championship team. Preston "Mahi" Medeiros is leading the offense very well, and Sake The middle line linebacker is leading the defense with a tremendous amount of effort. Keola Maielua and Nahiku Phillips are also a great value to the team, but as a team as a whole, i think that our team is blessed not only with skill, but with the will to prepare for the fight ahead, STATES.......Aloha and God Bless

Well I'm that #21 dude and I just want to thank everyone for their comments and support but I really think that our team should really focus on these two remaining M.I.L. games against Maui High and King K and after those games then we can start talking about the states playoff. I also dont want to take all the credit for my defence because I beleive if it wasn't for my defencesive-linemen and the other 10 guys on defence with me out their non of this would ever be possible so remember that theirs no I in team. Peace, Valu Sake #21 for your Lahainaluna V. Football Team.

Lahainaluna has a lot of key players but I don't think they have enough to get past the first team when it comes to states. I don't think any maui team has the chance to make it to a state championship game. They just don't have enough talent.

Posted by: Justin Miller at October 25, 2004 09:33 PM

Justin Miller, if you dont believe that any maui team cant make it past states, remember please dont show your face at any of our games. We dont need any non-believers and until you play the game and see how hard our boys work, then you can talk. Anyways, i do believe that our boys can make it. They proved to many people that were truley number one and we showed it. Ohh yeah.. Baldwin, deal with your loss! We beat you fair and square. We are the MIL CHAMPIONS..

The free safety for Lahainaluna (No. 23) has all the speed and agility of a professional player. He has made some of the most phenominal plays I have ever seen at the high school level. The Baldwin game highlighted his talents and showed him to be the most superior player on the field, It was a man against boys.

A Big Congratulations goes out to the Lahainaluna High school football team! They played a magnificent game against Mililani Last night. With the good grace of god, and determination in their hearts, they pulled through, and if they can do that then they can beat any team! Congratulations once again and keep pushing forward Lunas Imua!

I just want to say congratulations to my(our) wrestling team from lahainaluna, boys, i think we did great, but there is room for improvement, and by the good grace of god, we will be able to win the state tournament, but first comes a lot of work. Great job this weekend, at the radford hosted officials tournament, taking first as a team, with 3 champions, 2 runner ups, 4 thirds, and 2 fifths, Imua Lunas!
