Danny Cup Choy doesn't like football.

He's played the game, coached defensive backs at a California high school, played in Madden leagues, fantasy leagues. No, Danny doesn't like football.

Danny loves football. The Ohana League's defending champ talked with the Newsletter about strategy, heroes and salsa.

Owner: Danny Cup Choy
Franchise: Imua 2000

What is the attraction to fantasy football? It gives a Lions fan like me something to root for after Week 3.

What makes this league unique? Fourteen teams is the most I've ever played with...each teams first 3 picks are going to be very important...any busts at the top of the draft will be a disaster.

How did you come up with your team's name, and what does it mean to you? Imua2000... Kamehameha Class of 2000

As a franchise owner, what would you like to say to the fans? Get ready for another spectacular year from the defending champ.

What would be the perfect roster for your team? I've never had a star quarterback on my team... that would be nice.

What will be the more likely, realistic roster for your team? I'm not going to give away my strategy!!!

Resume time: What is your history of success (or lack of) in fantasy football? What other leagues have you been in? I won last year's opening season... I've won quite a few others... I think I'm the team to beat.

What is your favorite food? When watching NFL football... chips and salsa.

How much time will you spend in preparation for the Sept. 4 draft? Not much, I'm in a few leagues already so I've already got a handle on how I'm going to draft.

Are you a deal maker or a deal hater? Why? I'm not really a deal maker... but Im not a deal hater neither. I usually just like the teams I draft and dont have any interest in changing what I already got.

What is your take on the varied point modifications for this league? I think its great 'cause last year was all about TDs... now last year my two running backs by years end were Larry Johnson and Shaun Alexander, so it helped me... but it will take more than that to win this year.

Who is the player you love to hate/hate to love? Would you still draft or trade for him? No one really.

What player(s) do you refuse to acquire no matter what? TO...no matter what I won't draft him.

What team owner is your fantasy football hero? Kalani Takase.

Who is your favorite NFL team, and what will you do to see them play in person? The Lions... I'd do a lot actually, Ive never seen a pro game besides the Pro Bowl (and some USC games).

Who has the cutest NFL (or college) cheerleaders? Not sure.

Where should the HRC Ohana Fantasy Football League hold its post-season "banquet"? Paul's house.

What would you like to see added or considered by the HRCOFFL? A trophy.

How many teams should be the maximum? Fourteen is good.

How many leagues are you currently in? Three.

Would you be interested in participating in a Madden 2007 league? Of course.

Additional comments: Good luck!!!
