He's set in his ways, and his ways are set in him.

McGarrett 5-0 is a cover name for the Fence Sitters owner, which may give his age away. McGarrett talks with The Newsletter about da Bears, da Rams and NBA cheerleaders.

Owner: McGarrett 5-0
Franchise: Fence Sitters

What is your name? McGarrett 5-0, in honor of one one of the greatest television cops ever. Dirty Harry may have made the big screen but only McGarrett could "Seal the Rock".

What is the attraction to fantasy football? I think every married adult male should be entitled to play this game. Did I mention with kids?

What makes this league unique? Local boyz all the way………

How did you come up with your team's name, and what does it mean to you? Fence Sitters is a term for all of the “arm chair QB’s”, “closet coaches”, “fence kicking parents”, and anyone else that thinks they can do a better job then the coaches out there.

As a franchise owner, what would you like to say to the fans? The new stadium is coming and it will be bigger and better then our current one.

What would be the perfect roster for your team? The 1985 Chicago Bears. Dooommminaaaaation Baby!

What will be the more likely, realistic roster for your team? 2005 Rams.

Resume time: What is your history of success (or lack of) in fantasy football? What other leagues have you been in? Plate Lunch Pounders. I got ridiculed in the draft by taking players from my favorite team but all and all I did do well. Marc Bulger was the #1 pick of the draft, yeah yeah I still get slammed for that one.

What is your favorite food? Anything on a plate.

How much time will you spend in preparation for the Sept. 4 draft? How long is my work day?

Are you a deal maker or a deal hater? Why? If you like my trash, we need to talk.

What is your take on the varied point modifications for this league? Need to review it weekly so I don’t mess up on my game day roster.

Who is the player you love to hate/hate to love? Would you still draft or trade for him? T.O. Don’t like him, don’t hate him, but wouldn’t want to draft him. Still he is a great player.

What player(s) do you refuse to acquire no matter what? Again, T.O.

What team owner is your fantasy football hero? Not sure on this one.

Who is your favorite NFL team, and what will you do to see them play in person? The Rams. When I was growing up on Maui they came and did a football camp, Roman Gabriel, Jack Snow, Merlin Olsen, and a whole bunch of others. From that day on I liked the Rams even though they haven’t been that good. I even enjoyed watching Roman Gabriel on Gilligan’s Island. The Super Bowl win was a very happy day for the many Ram fans in Hawaii. Would I go to watch them in person? Only if they move back to LA.

Who has the cutest NFL (or college) cheerleaders? Haven’t really kept up with this one but I think the NBA has better looking girls then the NFL.

Where should the HRC Ohana Fantasy Football League hold its post-season "banquet"? Where else? Pagoda!

What would you like to see added or considered by the HRCOFFL? Cheerleader highlights?

How many teams should be the maximum? I’m happy to be one of the 14 so I’m glad the number wasn’t 10 or 12.

How many leagues are you currently in? This is the only league for me.

Would you be interested in participating in a Madden 2007 league? My kids whoop my butt every time I go near those things.
