POST-DRAFT REFLECTIONS

What was your goal coming into the draft? Did you have a gameplan before you saw the draft pick order? My goal was to draft the same players on all my teams. I hate the feeling of cheering for a player and then realizing i'm playing against him in another league. No real game plan other than stated above.

Once you saw the order, did your strategy change? My strategy did change slightly because I had the first pick.

How do you feel about the way your draft started and the way it finished? What grade would you give yourself? I feel I had a great draft, although I picked too many RBs and not enough WRs for our league. I would give myselft a B+ because of the reason above.

Is there anybody on your roster you regret selecting? Is there anybody you regret not drafting? I don't regret anyone on my roster. I kind of wanted Isaac Bruce in the late round, but I can live without him.

How active do you predict you'll be with trading and free agents? Is there a specific position that you're looking to upgrade? Free agents I will be cautious, becasue i'm already last pick. I need to hold off as much as possible to try to get higher on the list, I feel this will pay off at the end of the season. trading wise, I won't be actively searching a trade (because I really like my team), but I will be open to trades requested of me. I'm not really looking to upgrade any position, although i'm not as strong at WR #3 spot as i'd like to be or the depth i'd llike to have at WR either.

Looking at the rosters, who do you believe is the league favorite? I really cant say who the league favorite is. You just never know what will happen. One minute you may think you have an unbeatable team and then a couple key players get hurt and now your in the toilet. Never brag about your team, 'cause next thing you know your begging people for trades and no one wants to help you at all.

What would you like to say to the rest of the team owners? Good luck to all the owners and I think this will be a very interesting season. I'm curious about the QBs. So many injuries that star QBs are coming off of. even the RBs. Lots of injuries there as well. Good luck to all.
