Here's another Pupule view of this weekend's matchups.

Friday's games
Saint Louis vs. Punahou, Aloha Stadium — After seeing a number of defensive duels in the first half of the season, will this be a festival of touchdowns? Probably not. Punahou's defense has come along very well, while Saint Louis may have the finest unit of defenders in the state. This will come down to field position and turnovers ... and converting on short yardage. That gives the edge to the Buffanblu. Punahou 24, Saint Louis 20.

Kahuku vs. Farrington, Mililani Stadium — Not a lot of offense in this one, but one thing is certain: Farrington's prominence this season made this a definite TV game. That negates any home-field advantage. Farrington 14, Kahuku 6.

McKinley at Moanalua — Matchup old friends in coaches Bobby Grey (McKinley) and Arnold Martinez (Moanalua). Tigers have more depth and size defensively, and Tilton Kaluna is a heady leader on offense. Black & Gold 29, Blue & White 26.

Kalaheo at Kailua — Surfriders are up for homecoming, but it'll be tough against their neighbors. Kailua 28, Kalaheo 21.

Campbell at Radford — Rams also have homecoming festivities, but they'll have to figure out Campbell's Wing T or it'll be an unhappy evening. Campbell 25, Radford 20.

Kapolei at Leilehua — Mules have a history of struggling against the 'Canes, but they'll fare well with Bryant Moniz healthy and able. Leilehua 37, Kapolei 27.

Waipahu vs. Kalani, Kaiser Stadium — Keo Palimo‘o will run with anger after being held to 50 yards at Pearl City last week. Marauders 45, Falcons 13.

Kaimuki at Roosevelt — Technically, the Bulldogs are the home team. It won't matter who gets to wear the dark uniforms if the Rough Riders don't stop Kaimuki's I-slot running game. "Dawgs 33, Rough Riders 22.

Hawaii Prep at Keaau — Cougars are picking up momentum, while Ka Makani have a long drive following a busy school day. Keaau 26, HPA 7.

Ka‘u at Honokaa — Dragons are too deep and strong for the visiting Trojans. Honokaa 38, Ka‘u 2.

Waimea vs. Kapaa, Vidinha Stadium — Menehunes haven't lost to Kapaa in a long, long time. Waimea 40, Kapaa 19.

Saturday's games
Aiea at Waianae — Na Alii could have quarterback Alfredo Higa and All-State wide receiver Lofa Liilii ready. Playing at home is no automatic win for Waianae, which has lost two games at Torri Field while being unbeaten on the road. Waianae 20, Aiea 7.

Pearl City at Kaiser — Cougars' wide-open passing game and running back Isaac Saffery will knock the unbeaten Chargers off the top of the OIA White. Kaiser 23, Pearl City 16.

Nanakuli vs. Anuenue, Roosevelt Stadium — Na Koa could come up with a second win against a Nanakuli team that has some weaknesses against the pass. Anuenue 19, Nanakuli 14.

Waiakea at Kealakehe — Waveriders are too tough. Kealakehe 44, Waiakea 15.

Kohala at Kamehameha-Hawaii — Warriors could be ripe for an upset if they look past the Cowboys. Warriors 27, Cowboys 16.

Konawaena vs. Hilo, Wong Stadium — Wildcats are in position to strengthen to their hold of first place in D-II, but it will be difficult. Konawaena 23, Hilo 21.
