Amazon: Stepping into new turf
Posted at 8:47 AM
Chinese love a good deal as much as anyone. That's why Amazon's aggressive new steps justify its current valuation. Just my little opinion, of course.

Amazon? Here? Now?
Why not? After hitting $74 last week, the pullback/selloff has been fair enough. Amazon is the latest Co to hit my A- list in quite some time.
Personally, I've always enjoyed excellent service from Amazon. What's not to like?

Amazon (AMZN)
Grade: A-
I confess, I wasn't a big believer in Jeff Bezos and the Amazon crew for a vrey long time. The recent earnings explosion took care of that, but it doesn't end there. China is the apple of Bezos' eye, when he's not visualzing a landing on Mars, of course. Count China as a HUGE play, and downloadable video as another for Amazon. The PPS is down 5 since its high last week, and at $69 today (June 20) AMZN may still be overextended. Or maybe not. As Bezos has said before, the Co's investments sometimes don't bear fruit for at least five years. And as I say, China is one helluva apple to bite into. Amazon will not fail — their skill at execution is, more than any other reason, why I grade the Co this high.
