MMMMMM... football.

Rankings based on the Star-Bulletin Top 10.

Friday's games
OIA Red
Kapolei (6-3, 4-3) at No. 2 Kahuku (6-2, 6-0) — Red Raiders are faster at LB with Alema Tachibana and Paipai "P.J" Falemalu. Kapolei quarterback Mason Koa may not have the kind of open space he saw last year. Pupule says: Red Raiders 21, Hurricanes 6.

Kalaheo (5-3, 3-3) at No. 6 Waianae (6-2, 4-2) — Mustangs have a lot of mojo, but winning at Waianae in the post-season is a tall order. Pupule says: Seariders 31, Mustangs 16.

No. 4 Mililani (7-1, 5-1) vs. No. 10 Leilehua (5-4, 4-3), John Kauinana Stadium — Always a great game between arch rivals. Trojans are rested from a bye weekend, and Colin Lund is one of the best special teams weapons in the state. He won the first meeting between these teams with a clutch field goal. Pupule says: Trojans 19, Mules 14.

ILH
Pac-Five (2-6, 1-4) vs. No. 1 Saint Louis (8-0, 5-0), Aloha Stadium — Crusaders want to get the win without risking injury. Running the option against a physical Wolfpack defense could be challenging. Pupule says: Crusaders 41, Wolfpack 6.

No. 7 Kamehameha (3-3-1, 2-3) vs. Iolani (4-4, 3-2), Aloha Stadium — Raiders' no-huddle offense will test the Warrior defense. History favors the Warriors, who throw the ball more now, but still can play smashmouth football up front. Pupule says: Warriors rally and win, 34-26.

KIF
Kauai (6-1, 4-1) at Waimea (5-1, 3-1) — They've split two games this fall, and the Menehunes have homefield advantage tonight at Hanapepe Stadium. But the senior leadership of the visiting Red Raiders is a huge factor. Pupule says: Red Raiders 24, Menehunes 21.

MIL
King Kekaulike (2-5, 2-3) vs. Trojans (2-5, 1-4) — King K is getting better, while the Trojans have struggled lately. Pupule says: Na Alii 34, Trojans 23.

BIIF
Kohala (3-6, 2-5) at Ka‘u (0-6, 0-6) — Long ride will be worthwhile for the Cowboys. Pupule says: Cowboys 41, Trojans 14.

Hilo (4-6, 3-4) vs. Waiakea (2-6, 2-4), Wong Stadium — Rematch of the overtime thriller won by Hilo in late August. Pupule says: Warriors 33, Viks 28.

Saturday's games
OIA Red
No. 9 Farrington (4-2-2, 4-1-1) vs. Campbell (3-3-1, 3-3), Roosevelt Stadium — Final game on Roosevelt's battle-torn field. A defensive struggle is in the works. Pupule says: Govs win close, 13-9.

ILH
Damien (2-5-1, 1-4) at No. 3 Punahou (5-2, 3-2) — Improving Monarchs will be severely tested by Punahou's passing game. Pupule says: Buffanblu 26, Monarchs 15.

MIL
No. 8 Lahainaluna (6-1, 4-1) at Kamehameha-Maui (3-3, 3-2) — Lunas are in for a battle in Upcountry Maui. Pupule says: Lunas 25, Warriors 10.

No. 5 Baldwin (6-1, 5-0) vs. Maui (0-7, 0-5), War Memorial Stadium — Sabers are proud, but the Bears are deeper. Pupule says: Bears 37, Sabers 12.

BIIF
Konawaena (3-6, 3-2) at Hawaii Prep (6-2, 5-1) — Ka Makani want to finish regular-season play strong, but this rivalry has always been intense. Pupule says: Ka Makani 30, Wildcats 19.

Kamehameha-Hawaii (6-3, 6-1) at Keaau (5-3, 5-2) — Keaau town has never had a game between its schools mean so much. The Warriors could clinch the top seed in the D-II playoffs, while the Cougars are coming off a big upset win over Kealakehe. Pupule says: Cougars 33, Warriors 31.
