According to Science of Sports on Fox TV, no dunk takes more than .9 of a second to execute. In other words, no human is off the ground for a longer period of time. Amazing. I guess all the slow-mo footage I've seen over the years prove that technology allowed fans to enjoy the art of dunking far more than the naked eye ever could.

Josh Smith tore it up at the Iolani Classic dunk contest a few years ago. I still think he's got at least a couple of dunk crowns ahead of him.
