MNF: Will I regret not starting Brett the Jet?

That's right.

On three of my four fantasy teams, I drafted Brett Favre in the middle rounds (usually in the seventh) and scooped up Kurt Warner in the late rounds. Over the weekend, I started Warner (vs. Washington) instead of Favre, who plays at San Diego tonight.

I know about Favre's recent history against the Chargers. Sensational. And originally, I slated Favre as my starter. But as gametime drew near, I chickened out and went with Warner, who was hot in Weeks 1 and 2. More big-play targets and the coach has a commitment to throw the ball whether Arizona is ahead or behind.

With the Jets, I figured they'll run while ahead and maaaaaaybe let Favre air it out while behind. Mangini is uber-conservative.

Of course, now the game is an hour away and Mangini might just let Favre tear up the San Diego defense (sans Merriman) through the air. Warner wound up throwing for 192 yards, two scores and a pick. Slightly better than average.

I just won't be shocked if Favre throws for 300 yards and four touchdowns.
