This was one of those meals that was unique, but familiar.

Satisfying, yet not overkill. A meal worthy of being a last on earth, if it ever came to that. Worth every penny and then some. But enough said. A picture is worth a thousand words, no truer than at Gazen Izakaya. It started with the house tofu, both regular and black sesame -- and nothing ordinary about either. Spectacular is more like it.
