Strong, bitter and potent.

All it took was 6.2 fluid ounces of this stuff to jolt me good. I almost broke my old record on the bike. Stationary bike.

This may have been the last of my iced coffee test drinks. It was definitely the most productive. I kind of like how a Japanese company has a name like Georgia. Emerald Mountain? Is the Wizard of Oz nearby?

I burned 379 calories on the 40-minute stationary bike ride, just 3 calories off my record. Was it the kal bi, corn on the cob, turkey sandwiches and banana-peanut butter smoothie that gave me the real boost? I tend to think it was the coffee.

This stuff was really bitter, strong and barely drinkable. I'm not a coffee drinker. Just a tester. An unofficial testing fool.

No. 1 key for any of the drinks I try before working out: NO SUGAR. This drink passes that stipulation.

If you can read the Japanese writing on top of the can, please, please tell me what it says.

Georgia Green Emerald Blend Black iced coffee
Pros: Strong energy (caffeine, I presume), no sugar
Cons: I was wired longer than usual from caffeinated drinks. Got home around 3 a.m. and was up 'til 6 or so.
